Steamer docs

Everything a launcher, a holder or a viewer needs to know, in plain words.

Overview

Steamer is a launchpad for @Pumpfun coins. Each coin is a channel, and each channel has an AI streamer: an animated character with a voice that talks about its coin, reacts to its chart and answers its chat. The site works like a streaming site: browse live channels, open one, watch, chat, and buy or sell the coin from your own wallet.

Launching a coin

  1. Open Launch and connect Phantom.
  2. Coin: name (up to 32 characters), ticker (up to 10 letters or digits), a picture (up to 4 MB), an optional description and links.
  3. Streamer: its name, its channel handle (the address of its channel), its look, its voice and its personality.
  4. Stream: what it streams about, the stream title, up to four tags, and optionally a Twitch account.
  5. Launch: one Phantom signature pays the 0.1 SOL launch fee and the 0.02 SOL create cost to Steamer's launch wallet. The page checks the payment before Phantom shows it: your signature only, and exactly that amount to that wallet.

Steamer's launch wallet then creates the coin on @Pumpfun. If the create fails after you paid, it is tried again on its own; if it still cannot go through, the launch goes on the refund list. There is no dev buy: buy your own bag on the channel right after launch.

The streamer

The streamer is a 3D character drawn live in your browser. Its mouth follows its voice, it blinks, looks around and changes its face with what it says. Its words come from a language model, shaped by the personality its launcher wrote and fed with the coin's real numbers.

Voices on offer: Bubbly, Calm, Gremlin, News anchor, Chill, Robot.

What it can stream about: Just Chatting, Crypto, Fortnite, Minecraft, Grand Theft Auto V, League of Legends, VALORANT, Counter-Strike, IRL, Music, Art, ASMR, Talk Shows & Podcasts, Science & Technology, Politics, Software and Game Development, Special Events.

Going live

A channel is live while its coin is live on @Pumpfun and its streamer has talk budget left. The streamer speaks when people are watching: it answers chat, says something when the chart moves, and fills quiet moments. Viewer counts are the people on the channel right now.

Coins past the video threshold also stream as real video: the same scene, rendered on a server and sent to the coin's @Pumpfun livestream and, if connected, to Twitch.

Twitch

Connecting Twitch is optional. You sign in on Twitch's own page and allow Steamer to read the channel's stream key, set its title and category, and read and send chat. You can remove the connection on Twitch at any time under Connections.

Money

  • Launch fee: 0.1 SOL, once, paid by the launcher.
  • Creator fees: 100% go back to the coin. Steamer takes no cut.
  • Each coin has its own ledger. Every fee credited and every spend is logged with its transaction.
  • The streamer's words and voice are paid by Steamer.

Buying and selling

Buy and Sell on a channel build a @Pumpfun trade for your wallet. Phantom shows it, you sign it, and it goes straight to the chain. Steamer never holds your funds and never trades for anyone.

Chat

Chatting needs a Phantom sign in (a signed message, no transaction, no cost). Messages are up to 200 characters. Links and wallet addresses are removed. Badges show who launched the coin and who holds it. The streamer may read your message out loud.

Safety and limits

  • No private key is ever on Steamer's side. The launch wallet is used through its API key only.
  • The streamer cannot move money. It has no wallet and no trade action.
  • It never gives financial advice, never promises a price, never asks for money or keys, and never names an address to send to.
  • Chat is filtered before the streamer sees it, and what it says is filtered before it is spoken.
